Exciting news is coming from Lek City Case after a nearly six-month hiatus. The band has gone through various turbulent stages of development, but it is now a stable part of the Bulgarian alternative scene and one of the current and constantly working bands in the country, with five successful singles that have reached top positions on rock charts in Bulgaria, as well as club and festival performances.
Lek City Case is ready with their debut album SEVEN, and they have announced a tour in Bulgaria. Today, on March 8, they also presented a new song and video. The track “You” is about the paradox of women and unexpected turns. This is the sixth official single from the upcoming debut album for Lek City Case, and it is a song about destructive relationships, violence, and distorted attachment in a relationship.
Lek City Case stays true to their style, and yet surprises with the stylistics of their new video. “You” shows the band in an elegant new light as it places them on the periphery of an action scene where one of the heroes meets a fatal end. Dimmed lights, dancers, patronesses, and… a snake are just some of the decorations in “You.” The video was filmed by the team of Vasko Lalov, Dimitar Chobanov, and drummer Ivan Yankov, who is also the ideologist of the concept.
The promised debut album SEVEN is already fully prepared, and in order to present it, the band will embark on a tour of the country with seven dates, the last of which – is being kept secret: March 17 – Melon Club, Veliko Tarnovo, March 18 – Club, Stara Zagora, April 7 – The Stage, Blagoevgrad, April 8 – Thin Red Line, Sofia, April 14 – Target, Burgas, and April 29 – Bee Bop Cafe, Plovdiv.
At every live performance, the first 20 visitors will receive a gift of a personally autographed copy of the album. Before the official premiere of SEVEN on April 8 in Sofia, the band will also release a seventh single in an unexpected collaboration.
